Privacy Policy

The short version
PickLetter is a free classroom tool. We don't ask you to sign up, we don't have an account system, and we don't take payment. Everything you generate stays in your browser. We use anonymous traffic analytics so we know roughly how many teachers visit, but we don't identify you.
What we don't collect
- Names, email addresses, or any account information.
- Payment or billing details.
- The letters, categories, or warm-up presets you generate.
- Anything you type into the tool.
What stays in your browser
Your generation history and Categories Warmer state are stored in your browser via localStorage. They never leave your device. Clearing your browser storage removes them.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics and Plausible to understand which pages teachers actually use. These services may set cookies and record anonymized traffic patterns (page views, country, referrer). They don't see what you generate inside the tools. You can block them with any standard browser content blocker without affecting the tools.
Third-party links
Some pages link to external resources (curriculum guides, font providers, GitHub). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.
Children
PickLetter is designed for teachers to use in front of a class. It doesn't collect any data about students or other minors — because, as above, it doesn't collect any data about anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. There's no email list to notify because we don't have one.
